I was reading a devotion this morning from David Jeremiah this morning saying exactly what has been the emphasis of our challenge in the Word. It was a confirmation in my spirit.

I am getting more each day out of our daily readings. Sometimes have to go to a Commentary to understand what I have read, but I have found myself spending more time in His Word, searching other Scriptures to help me better understand. Why some of what I have read may not seem to be applicable for me at this moment, I know that it is giving me a firmer foundation to stand on when I need to call upon it. Thanks for holding us accountable for our daily being in His Word, Brad.

It's amazing to me how this theme of being more in the Word has been recurring so often in my life lately. From this, to devotions, to friends who have mentioned how they don't feel that they're reading their Bibles enough.
